  Today we had an excellent orientation talk by Dr. G.V. Hari sir the session was fruitful to the students. He effectively explained the nuances behind teaching-learning process. After his talk there was a qusestion-answer session.

 The final day of talent hunt was filled with energetic performances from Physical Science & Social Science Optionals. The feedback was excellent, the audience thoroughly enjoyed the function.

  College union Advitiya along with reading & oratory club organized 'Vayalar Anusmaranam' , Mr. Sumesh krishnan was the resource person. His talk was so effective the students thoroughly enjoyed the programme. Shafina of English optionals won the 1st prize for designing the poster for the event.

          T he second day of talent hunt was an eventful day , Natural science & Maths optionals performances were good and received good feedback from audience . The programmes included group dance, solo music performances, meme & skit.

  Today we witnessed energetic performance from English & Malayalam Department , the event started at 1:30 pm on college auditorium & ended at 3:30pm . Malayalam optional students released their magazine titled ' Prakrithi', the teachers as well as the students thoroughly enjoyed the program-me.

  Inauguration of Corruption free kerala ; A campaign against corruption & drugs This initiative of govt of kerala was conducted in Girideepam convention centre (Mar ivanios vidya nagar) in the presence of honorable chief minister Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan and film artist Nivin pauly .                                                                      The vigilance & Anti-corruption bureau of the                                                                                           govt organized this function . It started with a                                                                                           stage play on the issue ' the impact of drug abuse                                                                                      on the household' , followed by talks concerning                                                                                      this issue .   Panel Discussion on the topic ; Technology its advantages & limitations    The 3 reporters and 1 leader from the respective groups presented their ideas  about the topic of technology, the combined points they presented provided great insight into the way of how they perceived technology & its impact on the educational field.

Media Club Inauguration    The media club of Mar Theophilus Training college (Theo Press) was inaugurated by Mr. C.j Vahid Chengappally, senior news reader of doordarshan kendra on 13/10/2022                     The chief guest shared his experience in the field of newsreading , he was critical about the working of present day news media's he further entertained the students by imitating actors & radio personalities . The session provided great insight into the earilier functioning of doordarshan and the effort behind presenting the news accurately to the public.

  DISCUSSION ON TECHNOLOGY ;    Today, the semester 1 teacher trainees of Mar Theophilus Training College expressed their opinion regarding the positives and negative aspect of technology on the field of education.

  Semester 1 starts rolling for 2022-24 B.ed students at Mar Theophilus Training College Nalanchira Tvm.                The inauguration of the 2022-24 B.ed batch  happened on 15/09/22,  i joined the college on 26/09/22 and attended two online sessions and was eagerly waiting for the college to open after the pooja holidays to experience the face to face interaction with teachers and friends. Finally it happened with the basic orientation which highlighted the course structure, after that we had a self-introduction session which helped me to connect with the batch members. It was a great experience for me and i am really looking forward for an enthusiastic academic year ahead.
